“Celebrating Angmering”

 It is hoped that this event will be the start of many such events to be held in the Parish of Angmering, involving the entire community of Angmering and its Friends from neighbouring Parishes. 

This Event will take place on Saturday 27^th September 2008. 

The Carnival Procession will start from The Oval Race Track in Water Lane, at 2 o’clock processing through the Village to The Angmering School.

Each float and individual participant will be judged and prizes awarded. 

At the Oval there will be activities and demonstrations in the morning prior to the start of the procession.  At Angmering School there will be demonstrations of skills, crafts, arts, live performances and sporting activities in an arena.

There will also be static exhibitions and demonstrations by various organisations.

 This event is being planned by a Committee of Angmering Residents, Businesses, and Organisations to:-

 “Educate and Develop”

“Motivate and Inspire”

“Highlight the skills of the Community”
